Technical Architect 


Permanent | London Hybrid | £70k - £80k + Bonus


My client is a leading global telecoms provider who offer the latest voice, data, fixed line, mobile and data centre solutions to a number of multi-national enterprise clients.


They have grown significantly in the last 5 years and currently have offices spread across the EMEA, US & APAC regions, offering candidates an opportunity to join this growing global company. 


This client currently operates across 11 different global locations, supporting over 2000 business'.

As their Technical Architect you will be working with the global enterprise team, with overall technical ownership of assigned clients infrastructure in line with the management teams expectations.

This role will allow you to work alongside their solution design teams in establishing relevant Low Level Designs (LLD), ensuring that all solutions meet their customer expectations.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the deployment and transition teams to ensure solutions are delivered effectively and on-boarded into the company's support model correctly.
  • Technical assessment of proposed changes to existing solutions and will have overall responsibility for change control, adhering to the agreed change management processes.
  • Ensure the clients managed service infrastructure meets or exceeds agreed business performance SLA requirements, whilst ensuring client's planned business challenges and future requirements are understood.
  • Create technical solution designs to meet client's business requirements, that are aligned with their security policies and meet the agreed outcomes.
  • Provide written proposals that meet the clients requirements. Proposals will include details on costs, options, resources, equipment and time.
  • Implement engineering resource designs, to include testing and QA of installations of hardware, software and circuits within the company's and clients best practices and security protocols.
  • Manage small technical projects for various customers.
  • Obtain client sign off through project management.
  • Ensure suitable operational support documentation is created, maintained and available for SMC operations.
  • Gain acceptance from the SMC for completion of the on-boarding of the solution into the company's service facing departments and external contracted 3rd party service suppliers.
  • Attend client site meetings to scope changing business requirements and report on technical service performance.

 

To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:

  • CCNP/CCIE and CCDP/CCDE Cisco Certifications.
  • Experience in delivering and providing service improvement initiatives in large enterprise communication solutions.
  • Previous experience working in a customer facing role, constructing comprehensive quotes and proposals.
  • Created clear technical designs that provide productive outcomes for clients business requirements.
  • Provided technical support and guidance to 3rd party suppliers and clients.
  • previously worked/managed 3rd party suppliers to either design/deploy joint client services and discuss capability and credibility of the solution.
